Hello!
My name is Hannah and I’m a Fine Art undergraduate at the Arts University Bournemouth in the UK.
I work across a range of mediums including sculpture, pencil sketching, oil painting, photograms, collagraphy, and lino printing. I’m especially interested in experimenting with materials and textures, and how they can be used to express emotion, transformation, and natural processes.

This portfolio is a collection of my work from both my course and commissioned projects. I’ve also been documenting my work for years on Instagram (@artskirbee), where I share still life drawings, paintings, and quick sketches exploring different techniques, textures, and ideas.
Some of my recent work includes my oil painting project Loss and Regain, which focuses on society’s harsh body standards and their emotional impact. I also created I’m All Ears as part of my Create My Own Artist Movement project, where I developed my own movement called Idiomism.
During my college course, my practice began to shift from mainly drawing and painting into sculpture. I became more focused on materials and texture, creating fossil-like clay forms for my Texture in Nature project. I then started incorporating organic materials such as chia seeds to create overgrown, neglected effects, exploring the contrast between decay and natural beauty. This led to my interest in mould and natural decay, which I began integrating into my sculptural work to explore themes of growth, neglect, and transformation.
For my current university work, I am continuing to develop these ideas by creating pieces based on fossils and natural forms, which will eventually be exhibited at the Bournemouth Natural Science Society.
I am also currently open to commissioned work and am actively working on a number of pieces. If you like what you see, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
My work is constantly evolving, and I’m always excited to explore new materials, processes, and ideas as I continue to grow as an artist.
